Making the most of the Summer Solstice

Once a year we are treated to the longest day and shortest night, the summer solstice. The 21st of June is the summer solstice, which gives Scotland the perfect time for some evening adventures, something the Summits Team take full advantage of! From camping out on the most northerly Munro, Ben Hope, to watch the sun dip beneath the sea for only a few hours before rising again, to some more extreme adventures.

The Buchal is one mighty fine Munro, if the photo above doesn't prove it, just wait till you see what views it gives you. Sitting prominently in Glencoe, the Buchal has loads of climbing routes to take you to the top with a more exposed and thrilling day out.
