Black Diamond Vaporlock Twistlock Carabiner (Grey)

The Black Diamond Vaporlock Twistlock Carabiner is Black Diamond's lightest autolocking carabiner. Used with a belay device, it adds extra friction for rappelling and lowering; it can also be used with a PAS or as part of an anchor for extra security. An ultralight locking carabiner that’s ideal for long free climbs and slimming your rack, the VaporLock Twistlock adds an extra layer of security without compromising weight.

  • Increases friction up to 30% when lowering or rappelling with an ATC 
  • Munter hitch compatible on ropes up to 9.4 mm 
  • Keylock nose prevents snagging 
  • Dual-action Twistlock sleeve 
  • Type H or HMS connector. For dynamic belaying using a Munter hitch or belay device
