The Montane Men's Glacium Hooded Down Jacket is super lightweight, highly packable and exceptionally warm. Uses the same fabric and technical know-how as our high-altitude Apex 8000 Down Jacket.

Featuring a helmet-compatible hood, this down jacket brings pinnacle technology to every mountain setting. The PERTEX® QUANTUM Pro fabrics have a very durable construction and an ultra-thin water-resistant coating that will shed spindrift.

The hoodie uses 50D PERTEX® QUANTUM Pro in high-wear areas for maximum durability and 30D throughout the body to reduce weight and maximise packability.

With a wide baffle for increased warmth and reduced cold spots, gear-compatible chest and hand pockets, and a mountain fit that allows layering. The Glacium Hoodie is built to provide durable protection in cold, harsh mountain environments.

  • Windproof, durable and highly water-resistant, Pertex® Quantum Pro in the Glacium down jacket utilises a combination of a 30D ripstop and 50D ripstop reinforcement fabric in high-wear areas. The fabric features an ultra-thin water-resistant coating on the inside of the fabric and a durable water repellent finish (with no intentional use of PFAS) on the outside to provide reliable weather-resistant protection in the harshest of conditions. The tightly woven yarn construction traps warm air inside the jacket and improves the efficiency of the down insulation.
• ExpeDRY™ DUCK DOWN. Fast-drying Real-Gold Tech:
  • The Glacium down jacket is filled with ExpeDRY™ duck down, which has non-toxic gold particles bonded to it for fast-drying performance and industry-leading warmth. The chemical-free technology works because gold particles vibrate water molecules, just like heat does, to speed up evaporation to a rate faster than the water absorption rate of down, while managing moisture from the body.
