This high-performance jacket features 3-layer, highly breathable (RET 7) PETRICHOR TECHNOLOGY™ which has been developed with no intentional use of PFAS. This waterproof offers excellent wet weather protection (20,000mm Hydrostatic Head), a helmet-compatible hood, harness-compatible pockets, and pit zips to ramp up breathability even further. When you have to push hard for the summit, the Torren has the durability, protection, and performance to back your moves.
Montane’s PETRICHOR 3-layer technology delivers waterproof (20,000mm Hydrostatic Head), exceptionally breathable performance to the Torren Jacket. It scores a RET rating of less than 5, which means it is ideally suited for high-output activities in the outdoors, where it will remain breathable to keep you dry inside and out. This is achieved through the windproof, non-porous hydrophilic membrane that transports water vapour and moisture away from the body, an effect that increases in strength as you work harder. The 3-layer construction sandwiches the waterproof membrane between a 100% recycled, 21D Ripstop nylon face fabric and the lining, for improved durability and next-to-skin comfort.

In addition to the highly breathable PETRICHOR waterproof fabric, large pit-zips have been incorporated to be used on the move and provide adaptable ventilation.
