The Mountain Equipment Men's Lhotse Jacket is an extremely rugged and waterproof jacket ideally suited to mountaineering and demanding mountain walks. The Lhotse Jacket is built to Mountains Equipment's highest specification and designed for the most severe conditions.
The multi-award-winning Lhotse remains their best-selling GORE-TEX PRO jacket, a mountaineering classic that represents the best possible blend of protection, weight and durability. The Lhotse’s popularity comes from its versatility, a reliable refuge on rain-lashed mountains, icy gullies or Alpine peaks where it can be worn all day or stay buried in a pack, a reassuring presence if you’re caught out far from the valley floor.
GORE-TEX PRO is used in conjunction with a hard-wearing 80 denier face fabric throughout. This gives high levels of durability whilst maintaining the comfort and flexibility for all-day use.
The Alpine fit removes excess fabric whilst ensuring complete freedom of movement and still allowing room for normal year-round layering. Mountain equipment's renowned Mountain HC Hood gives exceptional protection in the very worst weather, accommodating a climbing helmet when required, it easily adjusts to any situation.
Large pockets and easy-to-use moulded YKK? zips give easy access to essentials, and laminated cuffs are sized to fit over a glove to seal out the worst weather.
Mountain Equipment Men's Lhotse Jacket Features:
Materials:
- Waterproof, windproof and breathable; GORE-TEX Pro fabric is guaranteed to keep you dry
- Taped seams throughout to prevent water entry
- Solution dyed backer
Patterning & Design:
- Using our classic ‘Alpine Fit’ for complete freedom of movement without excess fabric
- The Lhotse is sized on the assumption that at some point you may need to wear a baselayer, lightweight fleece and other mid-layers underneath it, so worn over just a tee-shirt in summer it may feel a little generous. That said, most people find this ‘true to size’ no matter when or with what they use it, but if you are of slight build and intend to wear only thin layers underneath it then you may need to consider dropping down a size
