The Silva Free Speed 2500 Head Torch is a powerful headlamp with long burn time – perfect for biking and ski touring at high speeds in technical terrain. It delivers 2500 lumen and features a powerful long-distance battery in a cordless and streamlined design. Since the Free series is modular, you can customise your lamp for more activities by adding a Lamp unit, battery or mount.

2500 powerful lumen and long-distance battery
The light output of Free Speed 2500 is powerful enough to illuminate technical terrain at high speed when cycling MTB, gravel or road, or when ski touring. The long-distance M battery (36 Wh) provides excellent burn time for long sessions, and when entering darker and more technical sections – like dense forest trails, steep descents or narrow paths – Speed Mode provides an instant brightness boost so you can keep your pace with confidence.

The battery also features a power bank function for charging your phone, watch or bike computer via USB-C. The lamp has a cordless design with two included extension cables (40 cm and 130 cm), allowing you to place the battery in your pocket or backpack. Cyclists can add the Free Helmet Mount Kit to attach the lamp to a helmet, or the Free Bar Mount Kit to mount it on the handlebars.

Focus and speed with Speed Mode
The lamp features 4 brightness levels, including Speed Mode that gives you a quick boost of brightness with a short press from Max mode. The lamp then increases light output when cooling from wind, speed or cold air is sufficient, and the function can run for up to 50 minutes depending on lamp, battery and cooling. A brief flash confirms activation. Since Speed Mode shortens burn time, switch back when you no longer need the extra power.
